The gyratory crusher is widely used across various industrial sectors, particularly in large and medium-sized mineral processing plants and other related industries, where it primarily serves to crush ores and rocks of varying hardness levels. During the working process, ore located near the contact point between the moving cone and the stationary cone is crushed due to compressive and bending forces. Meanwhile, the already broken ore is discharged from the area where the moving cone moves away from the stationary cone, driven by gravity. As a critical component of the crusher, the moving cone is typically equipped with wear-resistant materials to prevent excessive wear. A layer of zinc alloy or epoxy resin is poured between the liners and the cone to enhance its strength and fit precision. The cone is fitted to the spindle using a press fit, with zinc alloy also poured in this joint area. In new equipment, the cone and spindle are typically integrated into a single, unified design. At the bottom end of the spindle, a friction disc is rigidly connected, while the convex spherical surface on the bottom of the upper friction disc precisely matches the spherical surface of the middle friction disc.
