Product Description

  • 产品描述
  • Crushing Wall: The crushing wall is an essential component of the cone crusher, and together with the frame, horizontal shaft, moving cone, balance wheel, eccentric sleeve, lower crushing wall, hydraulic coupling, lubrication system, hydraulic system, and control system, it forms the complete cone crusher assembly. It is also referred to as: crushing wall, fixed-cone liner, cone crusher liner, cone-type crusher liner, stationary cone, fixed cone, or crushing plate.

The mantle and the concave are the primary components that work together in a cone crusher to crush materials. Since they remain stationary, they are also referred to as the fixed cone. During operation, the crushing bowl performs a trajectory motion, alternately approaching and moving away from the mantle, thereby exerting compressive forces on the material. Some of the crushed material is discharged through the open discharge opening. The mantle is secured to the adjustment ring by U-shaped screws, and a zinc alloy is injected between them to ensure a tight bond. When a new mantle is installed or replaced, its tightening condition should be checked after 6 to 8 hours of operation, and the U-shaped screws should be retightened accordingly. Below are introductions to several commonly used high-manganese steel liners for cone crushers:

Manganese 13 (Mn13) Rolling Jaw and Crushing Wall
Mn13 boasts high tensile strength, ductility, toughness, and non-magnetic properties. Even when parts are worn down to a very thin thickness, they can still withstand significant impact loads without cracking, making them suitable for casting various impact-resistant wear parts.

Manganese 13 Chromium 2 (Mn13Cr2) Rolling Jaw and Crushing Wall
Using Mn13Cr2 material—this involves reducing the C and Mn content typically found in conventional high-manganese steel while adding Cr—to compensate for the insufficient toughness of traditional high-manganese steel and effectively extend the service life of wear-resistant components.

Manganese 18 (Mn18) Rolling Jaw and Crushing Wall
Manganese steel for wear resistance is the oldest and most widely used type of cast steel. In particular, the standard Mn18 high-manganese steel used for rolling mill liners has a high manganese and carbon content. The as-cast microstructure of this steel consists of austenite and carbides; after water toughening treatment at 1050℃, most of the carbides dissolve into the austenite matrix.

Manganese 18 Chromium 2 (Mn18Cr2) Rolling Jaw and Crushing Wall
The material used is Mn18Cr2, which has undergone composite modification treatment to refine the grain size and purify the grain boundaries. During casting, the solidification mode is carefully controlled, and the heat treatment process is optimized. As a result, the castings exhibit high hardness, excellent toughness, and outstanding impact and wear resistance, making them suitable for use in medium- and large-sized cone crushers.

Manganese 22 Chromium 2 (Mn22Cr2) Rolling Jaw and Crushing Wall
The Mn22Cr2 conical crusher mantle and bowl liner, developed by the company for its U.S. customers, have undergone rigorous production and inspection and demonstrate superior wear resistance, earning high recognition from the U.S. clients.

New composite crushing wall for gyratory crushers
By using low-cost high-manganese steel or ultra-high-manganese steel as the base material for large wear-resistant components and then cladding hard alloy inserts onto their working surfaces, the bimetallic composite wear-resistant parts achieve excellent wear resistance on the wearing surfaces while maintaining superior ductility and impact toughness on the non-wearing surfaces. This approach reduces wear on the base high-manganese steel, significantly extending the service life of the cone crusher mantle liners.
